DMC Mining Limited announced the acquisition of the Mayoko Iron Ore Project (exploration licence number 7692) on the 3rd December 2007. The Company has been granted 80% of the project.
The Mayoko Iron Ore Project is located in the south west region of the Republic of Congo ("ROC") and is 2.2km from the bulk haulage Mayoko to Pointe Noire rail line which connects to the wharf of Pointe Noire.

A high resolution airborne geophysical survey covering 220km2 located in the central portion of the 1,000km2 Mayoko exploration licence has been completed.
